Data: Euro Stablecoin Market Cap Doubled in the Past Year, Reaching Approximately $683 Million
BlockBeats News, December 6, according to Coingecko data, the market capitalization of Euro stablecoins has doubled since the implementation of the European Union's Cryptocurrency Market Regulation Act (MiCA) one year ago, reaching a total market capitalization of approximately $6.83 billion. However, this is still significantly lower compared to the over $300 billion market capitalization of USD stablecoins. The 2025 Euro Stablecoin Trends Report released by London-based payment company Decta highlighted that the recent growth of Euro stablecoins has been mainly concentrated in a few top tokens. For example, the market capitalization of EURS has grown by 6.44%, while Circle's EURC and Societe Generale's EURCV have also seen significant growth, with transaction volumes increasing by 1139% and 343%, respectively. Search activities for Euro stablecoins have seen a substantial increase across various EU countries, with Finland showing a 400% increase, Italy with a 313.3% increase, and markets in Cyprus and Slovakia experiencing smaller but steady growth.
