Danske Bank: Dollar Remains High, CPI May Not Change Strength
Danske Bank analyst Silje Bjerre stated that the dollar remains near an 18-month high due to weakened market risk appetite and supportive comments from Federal Reserve officials regarding interest rate hikes. The market is focused on U.S. inflation data on Wednesday to gauge the Fed's future rate decisions. Bjerre noted that even if CPI data indicates the Fed may raise rates quarterly, the strong dollar trend may be difficult to change.
