BlockBeats News, January 13th, YZi Labs has made a "multi-8-figure" investment in Genius Trading, with CZ joining the project as an advisor.

Genius Trading is building a privacy-focused decentralized trading platform that aims to be Binance's on-chain alternative through a self-custodial, cross-chain integrated trading terminal offering spot, perpetual contract, and copy trading functionalities.

According to Genius Co-founder and CEO Armaan Kalsi, YZi Labs' investment took place last month and exceeded $10 million, with the specific scale and investment structure (equity, tokens, or hybrid) undisclosed. There was also no response on whether Genius plans to issue its own token.

Genius positions itself as a unified on-chain trading terminal, enabling users to access liquidity from over 10 blockchains, including BNB Chain, Solana, Ethereum, Hyperliquid, Base, Avalanche, and Sui, without the need for cross-chain bridges, wallet switching, or on-chain exposure of trading strategies.
