Coinhouse and Spiko: A Bridge Between Digital Finance and Traditional Cash Management
One euro. That is the minimum amount to start growing your liquidity through the Coinhouse app. The French crypto platform officially announced a partnership with Spiko, a specialist in money market funds, on September 14, 2026. The goal: to allow its clients, both individuals and businesses, to invest their idle money at central bank rates. For a company born around Bitcoin, this shift is worth noting. Let's go!
A Strategic Diversification Driven by Regulatory Approvals
Founded in 2014 under the name "La Maison du Bitcoin", Coinhouse has established itself over the years as a reference player for cryptocurrency investment in France. The platform now claims more than 100,000 active client accounts, including individuals and businesses.
The recent acquisition of two major licenses has opened new perspectives for the company:
- Coinhouse holds a license as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (PSCA) granted under the European MiCA regulation, under number A2026-013.
- In parallel, the company has obtained a payment institution license from the ACPR, registered under number 17998.
These two keys change the game: they allow the platform to expand its scope well beyond the buying and selling of cryptocurrencies. And the partnership with Spiko is the very first building block of this new phase.
Three Money Market Funds Accessible from One Euro
Let's get to the point. From the app, three products signed by Spiko Finance SAS are now available. Each is designed for different profiles and currencies:
- The first, Spiko Euro, is a cash fund denominated in euros, managed by Amundi. Its performance follows the evolution of the money market. This is the most classic entry point.
- The second, Spiko T-Bills Euro, also remains in euros but focuses on short-term debt securities from major eurozone countries. At the helm: the management company Twenty First Capital.
- The third, Spiko T-Bills US, is aimed at those who want to step outside the euro. Managed by the same team at Twenty First Capital, it invests in U.S. Treasury bills and is denominated in dollars.
The common point of the three: an entry ticket set at 1 euro. In other words, there is no need to have a large fortune to benefit from these products, which are usually accessible with much higher initial amounts.
A Direct Partnership Operation
The architecture of this integration deserves clarification. Coinhouse does not manage your invested money: it opens the door for you.
Specifically, when you invest in one of these funds, your direct contact is Spiko Finance SAS, an investment company licensed by the ACPR. It is Spiko that provides the investment service, records your orders, and holds your shares. It is also Spiko, not Coinhouse, that decides on the list of funds offered.
What is Coinhouse's role? To integrate this access into its interface and allow you to track the evolution of your investments in the same place as your cryptos.
In terms of security, Spiko funds are approved by the Financial Markets Authority and are deposited with CACEIS Bank. Spiko emphasizes permanent availability of funds, without notice, without penalty, and without fees at the time of withdrawal. In practice, the key information documents for each fund provide a recovery period of a maximum of two business days.
However, there is one condition to access this: both your Coinhouse account and your euro account must be validated.

Behind this announcement lies a clear ambition: to become the only application you need to manage your money, whether it is invested in cryptocurrencies or traditional financial products. Payments, investments, cash management, crypto services: everything must converge onto a single platform, with one foundation of security and compliance.
Nicolas Louvet, CEO and co-founder of Coinhouse, places this partnership in a trajectory of over ten years. According to him, the company has always been built with the idea of supporting its clients over time and adapting its offer to the evolution of their needs. He emphasizes one point: the gradual enrichment of the platform must not sacrifice the trust and security requirements that have built the company's reputation.
On Spiko's side, Paul-Adrien Hyppolite, CEO and co-founder, explains that the Spiko Embedded offer was specifically designed for this type of integration. The idea is that companies and individuals can earn interest on their cash directly where they already manage their payments or investments. He is pleased that Coinhouse users can now do this without changing applications.
In short, everyone benefits. Spiko gains a distribution channel with a clientele already accustomed to investing. Coinhouse, on the other hand, bridges the gap between << on-chain >> finance, that of blockchain, and << off-chain >> finance, that of traditional markets.
A Step Among Others
This collaboration between Coinhouse and Spiko illustrates a fundamental trend: the gradual convergence between the crypto and traditional financial worlds. However, be careful not to confuse these funds with a savings account. A cash investment remains an investment: it carries a risk of capital loss, and its return is neither fixed nor guaranteed. It fluctuates according to the rates set by central banks. If these rates decrease, your remuneration will follow the same path.
That said, Coinhouse is only at the beginning of its transformation, and more innovations are expected to follow. The platform is not slowing down: good surprises keep coming for its users, as evidenced by the acquisition of Tilvest, which we mentioned a few days ago.
