Blast L2 Officially Shut Down, Asset Recovery Site to Operate for 12 Months
Blast announced on the X platform that Blast L2 has officially shut down. Users who still have ETH or USD in their L2 wallets, pending withdrawals, or in Blast Mobile can recover their assets through blast.io. This recovery site will operate for 12 months, with the final support date being November 4, 2027. Blast announced in early October that it would gradually shut down the network due to operational costs exceeding L2 revenue, and its official withdrawal interface expired on October 26. As of the deadline, approximately $40.4 million in assets remained untransferred in the official cross-chain bridge.
