Bitcoin's October Performance: 77% Gains in the Past
With the arrival of October, attention has been drawn to Bitcoin's performance in previous years. This month, referred to as 'Uptober' by cryptocurrency investors, stands out as a period when Bitcoin has recorded significant increases multiple times. According to CoinGlass data, approximately 77% of Octobers between 2013 and 2025 closed with gains, with an average return of 19.92%. In 2010, there was a 217% increase, while the highest return of 60.79% was recorded in 2013. In 2017, it gained 47.81%, and in 2021, it increased by 39.93%. However, declines were observed in 2014 and 2018. From 2019 to 2024, there were six consecutive years of gains, but in 2022, there was a 5.56% increase, followed by a 3.69% decline last year. This situation indicates that 'Uptober' is not a recurring rise every year, but rather a month that has been profitable in the past.
