Bitcoin Implied Volatility at Multi-Year Lows

By: x.com|10/05/2026 13:41:00

Bitcoin's implied volatility remains at multi-year lows, despite a recent market recovery over the past two months, only slightly above the extremely low levels seen during the summer of this year. The continued decline in implied volatility is a predictable trend in the development of the Bitcoin and options markets, and this structural change may present new trading opportunities, making buyer strategies more competitive. It is expected that Deribit, after merging with Coinbase, will inject more capital into the options market.
