BAYC Co-founder Responds to Pranksy's Accusations
Prefer us on GoogleNFT whale Pranksy posted on X platform stating that "BAYC has ruined NFTs," arguing that projects like BAYC obscure the essence of NFT technology, leading the public to equate NFTs with "monkey projects," and flooding the market with copy-paste NFT projects. BAYC co-founder Greg Solano subsequently responded, pointing out that Pranksy had sold BAYC assets he believed were "originally worth $500 million" for millions of dollars, and accused him of promoting numerous copycat projects. Greg Solano also mentioned that Pranksy had founded several NFT-related companies, but these projects have been removed from his X profile, stating: "Be the change you wish to see, or enjoy the wealth that BAYC brings you."
