Aqua 1 beneficial owner Zhou Guren appears on China default list

Zhou Guren, the beneficial owner of Aqua 1 Foundation, has been identified as a public defaulter in China. Aqua 1, a UAE investment firm, invested 100 million dollars in the Trump family crypto project World Liberty Financial (WLFI), making it the largest investor, surpassing Justin Sun's 75 million dollar investment. Zhou, originally from Shanghai, is listed on a Chinese court's defaulter registry with unpaid amounts totaling tens of millions of yuan across six cases. Additionally, a recent indictment from the UK Crown Prosecution Service linked Zhou to a money laundering case in the UK. Zhou was also previously involved with a Shanghai-based timber company that faced smuggling charges in China.
