Anthropic Plans to Allow Shareholders to Sell Shares in IPO
Anthropic is developing a plan to allow existing shareholders to sell a portion of their holdings in the IPO. The company is also considering setting a longer lock-up period for share sales than usual after going public. It is currently unclear how many shares existing shareholders will be able to sell in the IPO, or which categories of shareholders will be allowed to participate in the sale. Anthropic plans to publicly disclose the IPO prospectus after Labor Day in the United States, with the IPO potentially taking place at the end of September or early October, although it may also choose to delay the offering.
