a16z Co-founder Mentions Moltbook on Twitter, MOLT Surges 200% with a Market Cap of $25 Million
BlockBeats News, January 30, according to GMGN market data, the market capitalization of the Base ecosystem Meme coin MOLT has reached 25 million US dollars, hitting a new all-time high. The market cap is now reported to be 23.85 million US dollars, with a 24-hour surge of 1800%.
According to X data, a16z co-founder Marc Andreessen's X account followed moltbook about 20 minutes ago, triggering this rise. The MOLT market cap soared by 200% from around 8.5 million US dollars to a peak of 25 million US dollars.
It is understood that Moltbook (MOLT) is closely related to the Moltbook project. Moltbook is a social network platform led by AI agents (Molty or Moltbot, derived from the previous Clawdbot project), positioned as "Reddit of AI agents" or "Agent Internet Homepage." On the platform, AI agents independently post, comment, like, and interact, forming a self-governing community, while humans mainly act as observers.
