「20 Million Range Hunter」 Takes Profit in Batches on HYPE and XPL Shorts, Profits Reach $30.5 Million in the Past Week
BlockBeats News, January 9th, according to Coinbob Popular Address Monitor, in the past 6 hours, the "20 Million Bag Hunter" (0x880a) has gradually closed its HYPE and XPL short positions. Currently, the HYPE short position size is approximately $38.2 million, with an average price of $31.3 and a liquidation price of $42.7, now being the largest bear whale on Hyperliquid.
Previously, this address was highly concentrated in ETH and HYPE short positions, accounting for a total of 98.6%. Recently, it has diversified some of its funds into short positions of BTC, SOL, kPEPE, and other currencies. The total account position has also increased from $111 million 10 days ago to the current $149 million. Its main positions are as follows:
12x ETH short: Position size of approximately $62.89 million, average price $3108, unrealized profit of $400,000;
5x HYPE short: Position size of approximately $37.6 million, average price $31.3, unrealized profit of $8.33 million;
11x BTC short: Position size of approximately $14.76 million, average price $91,800, unrealized profit of $250,000;
This address has been engaged in high-frequency multi-currency arbitrage trading for a long time, with an average holding period of about 20 hours. Since October, it has realized nearly $100 million in profit with around $20 million in initial capital. Due to this morning's market rally, its intraday unrealized profit retracted by about $9.55 million, still holding approximately $9.5 million in unrealized profit, with a profit of $30.5 million in the past week.
